Frequently Asked Questions

Is Supercharge Workflows free to use?

We offer plans through GitHub Marketplace. Visit our listing on GitHub Marketplace for current pricing and plan options.

What permissions does the extension require?

We only request minimal permissions needed for deployment tracking: read access to Actions, Deployments, Environments, and basic repository metadata. We never access your source code.

Does this work with private repositories?

Yes! Supercharge Workflows works with both public and private repositories, as long as you have the appropriate access permissions.

Can I use this with GitHub Enterprise?

Currently, we support GitHub.com repositories only. GitHub Enterprise Server is not supported at this time.

How secure is my data?

We only access deployment and workflow metadata - your source code is never accessed or stored. Session data is stored locally in your browser and cleared when you close it. All communication uses HTTPS encryption.

Will this slow down my GitHub experience?

The extension is designed to be lightweight and non-intrusive. It only activates on GitHub Actions pages and uses server-side processing to minimize impact on your browser.

Can I customize the deployment tracking interface?

The extension provides a consistent experience across repositories. You can control which repositories it activates on through the extension settings.

What browsers are supported?

Chrome 90+ and all Chromium-based browsers including Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Opera.
